Ballast water management is now a key factor in the shipping industry and the deadline for compliance is near for most of the shipowners.

Our engineering team has accumulated years of experience installing a wide variety of systems during both vessel docking and service allowing prospective clients to choose what system and installation schedule suits their needs most. Our globally positioned team can execute any BWTS project irrespective of geographical location with support from our corporate office in the UK or from any other of the other 6 main offices.
We can prefabricate in our workshops most of the piping for the WBTS in order to provide the best solution in terms of execution time for installation during navigation.
We have now experience with more than 20 different manufacturers of ballast water treatment and executed more than 50 BWTS installations.

Broken down our BWTS turn-key engineering package includes:
- Feasibility study and survey supported by 3D scanning onboard to understand parameters.
- Quotation, planning and full scope of works.
- Detailed project schedule.
- Creation of preliminary P&IDs for the BWTS and associated plant equipment.
- Creation of preliminary materials list.
- Revision of the vessel’s ballast water management plan with all necessary new drawings.
- Creation of electrical load schedule.
- Procurement of all materials and equipment with delivery to site.
- Mechanical and electrical installation in the shipyard and at sea whilst the vessel is in service.
